The Expressive Arts Program, then known as The Peaceful Puppets Program, was first described within the Fall 1987 version of The Pacific Major Sun as “an attractive studying experiment which focuses on creating kids’s negotiating, storytelling and drawback solving abilities.” Studying this once more, twenty five years after it is conception, I am reminded of the numerous changes the program has skilled while protecting true to it’s core values: peace training for young children. Regardless of the profession and whatever the future, graduates of the School of Arts and Communication are flexible, adaptable, and disciplined communicators who perceive process, drawback solving, and skilled commitment. By their alternative of electives and capstone tasks, MACOM college students elect to focus their studies in one of many following fields: integrated communication, multimedia, public relations, advertising, or journalism.

Students pursuing the Concurrent Program will full four graduate-level programs; these courses can even count in direction of the completion of the Bachelor’s degree in any of the four majors offered by the Communication Department (see the checklist below for which graduate programs college students may take and which undergraduate courses they are going to concurrently receive credit for).
