The Expressive Arts Program, then generally known as The Peaceful Puppets Program, was first described in the Fall 1987 edition of The Pacific Primary Sun as “an engaging studying experiment which focuses on creating children’s negotiating, storytelling and problem fixing abilities.” Studying this again, twenty five years after it is conception, I am reminded of the various modifications this system has experienced while protecting true to it is core values: peace schooling for younger youngsters. Students with an MACOM diploma select a variety of profession paths, together with promoting; mass media; public relations; entertainment; broadcast, traditional, and on-line journalism; education; and different fields. Each course within the DPI communications sequence assumes a fluency with the English language.
Full-time students will enroll within the fall time period and take 4 programs in the fall and spring phrases, followed by two programs over the summer season. Learning find out how to communicate successfully and strategically is at the core of a level from Regent’s arts, communication and English applications.
Of the remaining 9 hours, students might select 3 topics courses or a mixture of matters courses, a thesis, an internship practicum or an impartial examine (upon approval of the Dean). Within the Digital Arts Communication Minor, students learn to design with digital pictures, text, sound, and video.

At least one course in the B.A. or B.S. faculty degree program (core requirements) have to be a CLS designated variety course. College students will be taught varied theories of communication and their relationship with society. Ideas programs deal with the overarching philosophical, moral, and methodological points related to the study and observe of communication in a number of contexts.
